Amy Calder, an award winning journalist for the Morning Sentinel, is the recent author of a book published through Islandport press entitled “Comfort is an Old Barn”. Her book, which encompasses recollections on growing up in central Maine and also stories from her well loved column, Reporting Aside, has been beautifully received throughout many parts of Maine. She has, since its publishing in January of 2023, been invited to close to 30 book events.  We are pleased to have her as our guest on October 26th at 7:00pm. Please join us for Amy’s visit as she reads from her book, entertains questions, and enjoys a relaxing time with all of us.
