Whitefield Library’s Online Patron Access Catalog (OPAC)

Welcome to our Online Patron Access Catalog, otherwise known as OPAC! Back in the day, libraries had card catalogs with real cards and you had to go to the library to use it. Now everything is digital and you can search our catalog from the comfort of your own home! There are two links, one for general computer use, and one specifically designed for Smartphones. If you find something you like, you can request a hold on the book until you can come to the Library to pick it up. Hint: it really helps to be a Library Patron! If you haven’t yet signed up for a Free Library Card, do so now!

NOTE: You can now request a HOLD on a book in the OPAC catalog. Just click on the “Request Hold” link. This will generate an email to Library staff who will either “Reserve” the book for you (if it’s out) or “HOLD” the book for you, if it’s on the shelf. In either case, you’ll be contacted when the book becomes available.

These links should take you directly to the Whitefield Library. If for some reason your browser refuses to log you into the Library automatically or for some reason you find yourself at an OPAC login screen, sign in with WHITEFIELD LIBRARY. No password is needed.
