This Summer we want to explore the possibilities of all the young readers in this community. Let’s see how many challenges and adventures you and your family are up for!! We are hoping to gain an impressive group of participants so we can expand our Summer programming each and every year! There are many ways you and your family can participate in Whitefield Library Youth Programs this Summer!!!!
- Play the Summer BINGO reading challenge to enhance early literacy development. It’s never to early to start preparing your child for reading success. Recommended for ages 1-10.
- Try the Reading Challenge for our eager readers. Because you’re never to old to enhance a love of reading. Can you reach the goal? Recommended for ages 7-17.
- If you’d rather, you can simply Log your minutes and earn prizes. Recommended for readers of any age. Reading as a family counts!
Choose the challenge that is right for you. (Go ahead pick more than one!!) Download and print or pick up a copy at the Library to start earning your prizes! Prizes may be redeemed between July 1st and September 3rd
- Field Trip Storytime is a hands on community adventure to one of our local trails or farms! Children must be accompanied by an adult. Recommended for school age kids. Click Here for dates, times and locations!
- Weekly Storytime every Friday at 10:30 am. Themed reading, songs or rhyme followed by a craft or activity. Recommended for toddlers to age 8. Click Here for the full schedule!
